Jeremy Keenan is Visiting Professor in the Law School of Queen Mary University London (QMUL). He has previously held professorial positions in four other universities, including London’s School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS).
He has served as adviser and consultant to numerous international bodies on the political and security situation in the Sahara-Sahel region. Clients include the United Nations, the European Commission, NATO, the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and its Defence Ministry; the US State Department.
